Private Equity Vice President – Mid-Market Buyout | London

We are partnering with a well-established London-based mid-market private equity platform with c. €4bn raised across its fund.

The firm focuses on control buyouts across the UK and Western Europe, investing in consumer, healthcare, industrial and business services businesses. The strategy centres on operational value creation and hands-on portfolio engagement within the mid-market segment.

As part of continued investment activity, the team is looking to hire a Vice President with proven buy-side experience.

You will play a key role across the full investment lifecycle:

• Leading financial and commercial due diligence work streams
• Building and reviewing LBO and operating models
• Owning IC materials and driving investment theses
• Supporting negotiations and transaction execution
• Working closely with portfolio management teams post‑acquisition
• Mentoring junior team members

This is a high‑exposure role within a lean, collaborative team, offering meaningful responsibility and direct interaction with Partners.

• 6–10+ years’ total experience
• Current or prior private equity buy‑side experience required
• Strong modelling and transaction execution track record
• Experience in mid‑market control situations preferred
• Sector exposure to consumer, healthcare, industrials or services advantageous
• Strong academic background
