Salary: £75,000 + excellent benefits

We’re searching for an inspiring operational leader to head Non‑Food Services across Portering, Domestic Services, and Logistics at one of the UK’s most complex healthcare environments.

As Head of FM, you’ll shape strategy, elevate service standards, and lead high‑performing teams that keep hospital operations safe, efficient, and patient‑focused.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead & Innovate:
    Develop a high‑performing Non‑Food Service Delivery Model across multiple teams.
  • Champion Quality:
    Ensure full compliance with NHS, HSE, and contractual standards, driving excellence in infection control and patient safety.
  • Inspire Teams:
    Build, motivate, and develop multi‑disciplinary teams to deliver exceptional service.
  • Drive Efficiency:
    Use data, KPIs, and insights to improve performance and optimise operations.
  • Collaborate Widely:
    Work closely with clinical and operational leaders to align services with hospital priorities.
  • Transform Services:
    Support mobilisation, process redesign, and digital innovation initiatives.
  • Deliver Commercial Results:
    Manage budgets, identify efficiencies, and ensure sustainable service delivery.
What We’re Looking For

A proven operational leader with the credibility and confidence to work in a fast‑paced, high‑demand healthcare setting.

Essential Experience & Skills
  • 5+ years leading multi‑disciplinary teams (cleaning, portering, logistics, or facilities).
  • Strong knowledge of NHS or healthcare operational standards.
  • Exceptional people leadership and coaching capability.
  • Commercially aware with experience delivering within budget.
  • Skilled in change management, service transformation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Passionate about service excellence, sustainability, and improving patient experience.
