About This Opportunity

We're looking for an enthusiastic, proactive leader to join the Executive Office within Business & Commercial Banking (BCB). In this pivotal role, you'll drive operational excellence and provide strategic support across the business-ensuring governance, risk management, cost management, and colleague capability are delivered effectively.

You'll act as a trusted partner to senior leaders in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment, shaping ways of working, influencing business outcomes, and supporting both change and run‑the‑bank activities. The role offers significant exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Governance & Reporting: Maintain and enhance the governance and reporting framework, delivering high‑quality analysis and insight to support informed decision‑making.
  • Leadership of Strategic Initiatives: Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of strategic and operational priorities, ensuring alignment with business objectives & priorities.
  • Risk Management: Embed strong risk and issue management processes, ensuring timely escalation, effective mitigation, and robust controls.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Lead and facilitate senior meetings, prepare briefing materials, track actions, and influence positive outcomes.
What You'll Need

Strong experience in banking or financial services (highly preferred).

Proven ability to support and influence senior stakeholders in a large, matrixed organisation (ideally experience supporting an Exec Office).

Strong technical and numerical capability, knowledge of change methodologies and tooling solutions and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insight for decision making

Strong relationship‑builder with the ability to anticipate partner needs, drive collaboration, and champion high performance.

Excellent verbal and written communicator, capable of distilling complex themes into clear, compelling messaging.

Flexible, resilient, and comfortable working in ambiguity-able to prioritise effectively and adapt at pace.
