The Role

The Associate Director Implementation role has global responsibility for the successful operational implementation across all IFM domestic and global asset classes of new products, restructures, closures, complex transitions and operating models across Operations, Date & Technology (ODT). The role is responsible to the Executive Director and Director of the Implementation Team and will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure that IFM drives consistency and best in class implementation across all products with the objective of seamless integration resulting in positive client experiences.

The Implementation Associate Director will be a seasoned leader with strong stakeholder management presence and the ability to consult and influence clients and senior management.

Specific Areas Of Responsibility Include
  • Plan, co-ordinate and project manage the delivery of new product, restructure, closure, transition and operating model design activities across operations end-to-end, including operational vendor appointments and onboardings.
  • Engage in internal and external client discussions and relationships management activities as required to understand client needs.
  • Liaise with and co-ordinate custodians, administrators, depositories, investment managers and other external stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely completion of implementation activities.
  • Ensure appropriate levels of governance, oversight and vendor relationship management are applied to all implementation activities.
  • Facilitate information provision to internal and external stakeholders, including decision making committees to help ensure no additional risk to the management of client assets during the implementation.
  • Train, develop and guide staff to promote collaboration and continuous improvement.
Strategic Planning
  • Enhance the IFM Investors brand experience and deliver to plan.
