Salary: £44,951 - £52,259 (Full Time 36hrs per week) 1 Year Fixed Term
Location: Bromley Civic Centre
In Bromley we are committed to preventing homelessness through earlier intervention and tackling the root causes of homelessness. We are looking to recruit an experienced Housing Options Team Manager who will be responsible for the management and co-ordination of a Housing Options Team, ensuring that staff act in a creative and focused manner and in accordance with the legislation, policy and best practice.
Responsibilities- Lead and co-ordinate the Housing Options Team to deliver housing solutions and prevent homelessness, ensuring staff work creatively and in line with legislation, policy and best practice.
- Proactively lead a team of Housing Options Officers, developing a positive, forward-looking, responsive to change, performance-driven and customer-focused culture.
- Demonstrate experience in preventing homelessness and in casework management.
- Provide strong oral and written communication, and collaborate with internal and external colleagues and partners to achieve successful results and outcomes.
- Provide extensive working experience in offering housing solutions advice and assistance to prevent homelessness.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of statutory legislation, case law and best practice relevant to housing options work.
