A well-established multidisciplinary construction consultancy based in South London is seeking a Project Manager to join their expanding team. This Project Manager will deliver a varied portfolio of schemes across education, residential, commercial refurbishment and public sector projects. The Project Manager will work closely with Directors while taking day-to-day responsibility for managing projects across Greater London and the surrounding boroughs.
This Project Manager role offers exposure to multiple sectors within a collaborative and client-focused consultancy environment.
The Project Manager will manage projects from feasibility and briefing stages through to construction delivery and practical completion. You must have prior construiction consultancy experience as a Project Manager to be considered for this role.
The 'Project Manager's' role
The Project Manager will lead design team meetings, chair contractor progress meetings and coordinate multidisciplinary consultants across all RIBA stages. The Project Manager will manage change control procedures, review contractor programmes and monitor performance against cost and time objectives. Working across sectors including education, housing and commercial property, the Project Manager will adapt delivery strategies depending on client and funding structures.
Project values will typically range from £5m to £50m.
The 'Project Manager'
The successful Project Manager will hold a construction-related degree such as Construction Management, Building Surveying or Quantity Surveying and ideally be MRICS, MCIOB or MAPM qualified, or working towards chartership. A proven background delivering projects within a consultancy environment is essential. Strong knowledge of JCT contracts, RIBA stages and stakeholder management is required.
