The Role

As an Influence Manager you lead the planning, execution and optimisation of influencer campaigns across a range of clients and sectors. You manage your workload autonomously, drive quality and end‑to‑end delivery, build trusted client relationships, communicate across teams, resolve issues, manage timelines and mentor junior staff.

Key Responsibilities Campaign Management
  • Run multiple influencer campaigns from start to finish.
  • Identify, vet and negotiate contracts with talent.
  • Implement campaigns across relevant channels.
  • Oversee delivery, ensure quality and report on KPIs.
  • Maintain the influencer database for accuracy.
  • Resolve day‑to‑day problems independently and only raise to senior leadership when appropriate.
Strategic Contribution
  • Recommend objectives, targets and creative concepts.
  • Present solutions and reports to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and nurture client‑appropriate talent opportunities.
Client Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact, manage expectations and provide timely updates.
  • Build long‑term relationships by delivering work that meets objectives and deadlines.
Communication & Collaboration
  • Communicate across media, PR and social teams, coordinating timelines and updates.
  • Prioritise tasks, keep senior leadership informed and ensure deadlines are met.
Resource Management
  • Manage campaign budgets and timelines to deliver profitably and on schedule.
  • Communicate workload capacity to line managers.
Team Growth & Mentorship
  • Support junior team members with feedback, knowledge sharing and informal mentoring.
Skills for Growth to Influence Director
  • Strategic Development – lead strategic design for mid‑size accounts.
  • Commercial Acumen – understand profitability, identify growth opportunities and contribute to pitches.
  • Senior Client Counsel – evolve into a strategic advisor for mid‑level clients.
  • Team Leadership – develop formal line‑management skills and inspire a team.
What You Will Need
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in influencer marketing, preferably agency.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple campaigns, budgets and timelines.
  • Platform knowledge of Linked In and You Tube; experience with emerging platforms adds value.
  • Strong relationship‑building with subject‑matter experts and executives.
  • Curiosity and technical insight to craft multi‑stakeholder messaging.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and escalation skills.
  • Mentoring or coaching experience desirable.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Commitment to continuous learning in influencer marketing trends.
