About the Role

You will be joining a dynamic proposals function as an experienced Senior Proposals Manager where you will lead strategic pursuits across several high-profile business units.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of major opportunities across the full work-winning lifecycle—from Capture through to Handover. You’ll work closely with senior leaders, technical experts and proposal professionals to form winning teams, craft compelling strategies, and deliver high‑quality, profitable proposals.

You’ll also play a pivotal part in enhancing our bidding processes, integrating digital and AI‑enabled techniques, and supporting the growth and development of future talent within the team.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead opportunities through the full work-winning lifecycle (Capture, Bid Preparation, Qualification, RFP, Lessons Learned, Handover).

* Ensure proposals align with best practice, governance, and quality standards.

* Influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders across UK and global teams.

* Shape delivery solutions, win themes, and key messaging.

* Guide technical authors to produce clear, tailored and impactful proposal content.

* Support interview preparation for project teams.

* Act as a central hub of best practice and contribute to knowledge library development.

* Mentor junior proposal team members and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills & Experience

* Experience with in proposals or work-winning, ideally from a consultancy background.

* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

* Strong project management capability with excellent attention to detail.

* Ability to build strong internal and external relationships.

* Highly organised with strong time‑management and prioritisation skills.

* Confident assimilating complex information and managing multiple workflows.

* Enthusiasm for innovation and emerging digital bidding techniques.

* Degree‑qualified with APMP Foundation (or equivalent).

* Minimum 10 years' experience in a similar role.
