** Four Seasons Hotel London at Tower Bridge is looking for an Assistant Director of Engineering to join the team.

* The Role:

** The Assistant Director of Engineering plays a key leadership role within the Engineering team and works closely alongside the Director of Engineering to support the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel. This position oversees a team of Engineering and Maintenance professionals responsible for maintaining all interior and exterior facilities to the highest standards, ensuring a safe, well-maintained and comfortable environment for both guests and employees.

This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent people management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment.

* What you will do:

*** Support the Director of Engineering in the overall management of the Engineering department and deputise in their absence.
* Lead, coach and develop a diverse Engineering and Maintenance team.
* Oversee all engineering operations across the property, including plumbing, refrigeration, heating and cooling, painting, carpentry, structural works, recycling processes and electrical systems.
* Ensure all preventative maintenance programmes are effectively implemented and continuously improved.
* Manage engineering projects, refurbishments and capital works, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
* Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental regulations and company standards.
* Work collaboratively with other departments to support operational needs and guest satisfaction.
* Maintain accurate records, reports and maintenance logs in line with company requirements.

* Strong understanding of the engineering needs of a hotel operation.
