Sales Director / MD Designate

A leading provider of impactful design, print and production solutions for premium clients in a range of industries is looking for someone to lead their sales team with a view to heading up the business in a Managing Director role in the next couple of years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the sales department, develop and implement sales strategies.
  • Gather performance data and create reports for senior management and shareholders.
  • Use knowledge of the printing industry and its markets to create growth, accurately forecast sales predictions and shifts in the marketplace, and avoid stagnation.
  • Conduct trend analysis, monitor markets, and track results to achieve high performance.
  • Take responsibility for profit and loss and provide direction to the sales team.
  • Act as an ambassador for the client, maintaining close, trusting relationships with suppliers, clients, stakeholders, and affiliated companies.
  • Motivate the sales team and exercise strong communication, people skills, cooperation, and persuasion.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Currently in the printing industry.
  • UK residency and recent work experience in the print, packaging, or paper sectors.
  • Number-oriented with strong math skills and well-developed business sense.
  • Excellent communication and people skills, with strong motivational, cooperative, and persuading abilities.

The role of Sales Director requires someone who likes a challenge and is excited by the thought of reaching company objectives through sales leadership. If you can prove yourself in this role, you will soon move up the ladder within this company, eventually heading it in a Managing Director role within the next couple of years.
