Assistant Manager - Risk & Advisory Services

Our client is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join their growing Risk & Advisory Services team.

This role offers the chance to work across a diverse portfolio of clients, supporting internal audit, risk and advisory projects that strengthen governance, improve controls and drive better decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and deliver internal audit and advisory assignments from planning to reporting
• Manage a small portfolio of engagements, including budgeting and project oversight
• Review audit testing and ensure high-quality work is completed on time
• Identify and communicate key risks and actionable recommendations
• Support consultancy projects and on-site work where required
• Coach and develop junior team members
• Contribute to business development and continuous improvement initiatives About You
• Strong experience in internal audit, risk or assurance roles
• Professionally qualified (CIA, CMIIA/MIIA, CCAB or equivalent)
• Confident communicator with strong report-writing skills
• Effective at managing multiple assignments and stakeholder relationships
• Proactive, collaborative and keen to support team development
• Willing to travel for client work (full driving licence preferred) What’s on Offer
