Facilities Manager
Location: London (with travel to sites across the UK)
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000
Beach Baker is delighted to be instructed on a confidential opportunity to recruit a Facilities Manager to support a growing, mixed-asset property portfolio.
About the RoleThis is a hands‑on, multi‑site role overseeing the day‑to‑day operational management of both commercial and residential properties. You'll ensure buildings are maintained to high standards of safety, compliance, and presentation while supporting the smooth running of a diverse estate.
Responsibilities- Oversee day‑to‑day FM operations across a mixed commercial and residential portfolio
- Complete regular site inspections to maintain safety, compliance and presentation standards
- Manage planned and reactive maintenance programmes
- Coordinate contractors and monitor service delivery
- Maintain statutory compliance records and support incident reporting
- Assist with budgets, service charge monitoring and cost control
- Support mobilisation of new properties and operational handovers
- Act as a key point of contact for occupiers and internal teams
- Work across a varied and growing estate
- Exposure to both commercial and residential asset classes
- Autonomy and responsibility across a multi‑site portfolio
- Supportive team environment with genuine progression opportunities
- Role offers stability, development and long‑term growth
- Minimum 2+ years' facilities management or property operations experience
- Multi‑site experience desirable
- Strong understanding of health & safety and statutory compliance
- Confident managing contractors and suppliers
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise effectively
- Strong communication and stakeholder skills
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car
- Competitive salary depending on experience
