Manager – Corporate Secretary (Funds / Corporate Services)
At HI Partners, I am currently supporting a well-established and growing fund services environment in London
.
I am looking for an experienced Corporate Secretary ready to step into a managerial role combining client exposure, governance expertise and team leadership
.
This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys working at the intersection of corporate governance, client service and team management in an international environment.
Your RoleYou will join the Corporate Services team and take responsibility for the delivery of corporate secretarial services for UK entities and international clients
, while overseeing and developing a small team.
This role combines technical corporate governance expertise with people management and client interaction
.
- Organising and coordinating Board and Shareholder meetings
- Attending meetings and preparing high-quality minutes and resolutions
- Preparing corporate documentation (agendas, minutes, resolutions, reports and legal documents)
- Managing statutory filings and maintaining corporate records
- Supporting the onboarding of new client entities
- Ensuring strong corporate governance and compliance with deadlines
- Acting as a key contact for clients and service providers
- Contributing to corporate services projects and process improvements
- Leading and mentoring members of the Corporate Secretarial team
- Supporting recruitment, training and performance management
- Assessing resource allocation and team workload
- Degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or similar
- ICSA / CGI qualification (or equivalent) is a strong advantage
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a Corporate Secretary / Corporate Governance role
- Strong experience with UK corporate governance and Board processes
- Experience with in fund administration, legal or corporate services is a strong advantage
- At least 3 years of team leadership or supervision experience
- Strong organisational and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail and strong sense of ownership
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent English is mandatory.
