The role – what is it we would like you to do?
Currie & Brown is currently looking for an Associate Director for our Healthcare Advisory Services business, covering primarily London and the South East but also other parts of the UK.
We are looking for candidates who can help continue the growth and success of our healthcare advisory services team. Successful candidates can expect to be directly involved in:
Requirements:
- Significant experience of providing PM/PMO and consultancy services on NHS capital schemes.
- Ability to work effectively with clients and within multi-disciplinary teams, building strong relationships and communicating effectively; winning the confidence of the client team to secure repeat business.
- Project management skills, with the ability to establish and implement project plans, governance structures and associated procedures and tools.
- Manage and coordinate input from healthcare clients and advisors to produce strategic documents such as business cases and estate strategies.
- Stakeholder management with experience and understanding of how to manage a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Produce high-quality documentation and presentations with the ability to apply skills to present to senior management, ideally with knowledge of developing NHS or public sector business cases.
- An understanding that significant capital investments represent major business change; ideally experience of change programmes in healthcare infrastructure, service transformation or related fields.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage a portfolio of work.
- Maintain sector-specific knowledge, particularly with regards to the healthcare sector and plans for capital investment.
- Ability to confidently handle numbers in the preparation of reports and business cases, for example, in compiling an economic appraisal.
- Ability to drive forwards projects and programmes, taking initiative and problem-solving with ambition to grow and develop knowledge and skills within the sector.
