Business Management, Operations Manager
Our client is a well-established subscription marketing and fulfilment agency with over 35 years’ experience supporting leading newspaper and magazine publishers. They provide end-to-end subscription solutions across acquisition, retention, fulfilment, customer care, payments and analytics, helping media brands grow and optimise recurring revenue across print and digital.
This is a senior leadership role with genuine commercial ownership. You’ll lead a portfolio of subscription clients, manage a small team, and work closely with the Managing Director to shape strategy, drive profitability and support long-term business growth.
Responsibilities- Own and grow a portfolio of subscription clients, leading strategy, performance and long-term partnerships
- Take full commercial responsibility across accounts including budgeting, modelling, pricing and profitability
- Lead, mentor and develop Account Managers and the Subscriptions Manager
- Oversee campaign delivery (BAU, reactivation and retention), ensuring strong reporting, insight and continuous improvement
- Proven senior account leadership experience within subscriptions, media, marketing or a related recurring revenue environment
- Strong commercial and financial management experience, including budget ownership and modelling
- Confident client leader, comfortable operating at senior stakeholder level
- Highly organised, hands‑on and data‑driven, with advanced Excel capability
