As Head of Commercial Execution, you’ll lead the oversight of Commercial Execution for Private Bank, providing cost, workforce, and strategic business support directly to the CEO of PB. This global role is responsible for driving business management activities, aligning cost management, and overseeing strategic business initiatives and commercial execution. You’ll champion continuous improvement, efficiency, and innovation across PB and the wider IWPB function.

• Develop and maintain PB’s vision and strategic priorities
• Oversee cost and workforce management, including reporting, MI, and strategic planning
• Ensure robust governance and controls for cost base and workforce
• Lead the development and execution of workforce plans and location strategy
• Oversee indirect costs and support recharge reviews
• Drive execution of strategic programmes within PB
• Manage governance and reporting, including secretariat duties for key committees
• Partner on the PB People agenda, D&I commitments, and organisational development
• Build strong relationships with PB OpCo, business management, Finance, and other key stakeholders
• Act as a standing member of the PB Leadership Team and attend relevant committees

• Deep understanding of HSBC Group, IWPB, and PB business, products, and services
• Proven experience leading complex, global change initiatives;
  Agile and process optimisation experience is highly desirable
• Outstanding organisational and planning skills, with a track record of managing multiple global programmes
• Strong commercial mindset with expertise in cost, budget, FTE, and governance oversight
• Knowledge of the evolving regulatory environment in financial services
• Advanced leadership, management, and coaching skills, with experience driving cultural change
• Exceptional relationship management, influencing, and communication skills at all levels
• Experience in senior management roles overseeing large functions or portfolios
