Position: Assistant Operations Manager
Location: Hybrid Working. Home / London Region and Home Counties (Typically 3 days out onsite and 2 days from home)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:30 (hours may vary depending on the development)

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
As an Assistant Operations Manager at Rendall & Rittner, you will:
- Manage a portfolio of residential developments across London and the Home Counties, overseeing onsite teams, ensuring SOPs are followed, supporting health & safety compliance, and leading by example in line with Rendall & Rittner’s policies, procedures, and values.
- Lead, mentor and develop onsite teams to deliver high standards of performance, productivity and customer service.
- Oversee recruitment, performance management, appraisals and employee relations matters in line with company policies.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, clients, residents and external contractors.
- Ensure all sites operate in full compliance with Health & Safety legislation through inspections, fire door checks, audits, risk assessments and training initiatives.
- Support and coach teams on Health & Safety matters, delivering toolbox talks and promoting a strong safety culture.
- Deliver exceptional customer service standards, proactively seeking feedback and implementing improvements where needed.
- Monitor operational performance through reporting and analysis to drive efficiencies and service excellence.
- Support financial management by analysing staffing costs and expenditure.
- Effectively manage time and priorities across the portfolio, ensuring workloads are planned efficiently and service levels are consistently maintained.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and best practice across onsite teams.
