Role OverviewWe are looking for a Sales Director to lead HIVED’s commercial growth by managing a high-performing sales team, driving revenue, and onboarding new shippers. You’ll work closely with internal teams, including Commercial Strategy, Marketing, Tech, Operations, and Finance, to define processes, assign territories and targets, and ensure the team has everything needed to win. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, directly impacting HIVED’s growth trajectory.
Responsibilities- Lead, manage, and coach the sales team to consistently meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Own the pipeline, deal progression, and customer relationships from outreach to closure.
- Ensure the profitability and long-term success of every deal.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide tools, processes, and insights for sales enablement.
- Partner with Commercial Strategy to document and optimise repeatable sales processes.
- Work with Marketing to align lead generation and outbound campaigns.
- Design the sales organisation, including role levels, territories, and targets.
- Proven experience leading and scaling high-performing sales teams.
- Track record of hitting or exceeding revenue targets and onboarding key accounts.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to assess profitability and negotiate deals.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability and a growth mindset.
- Experience working with CRM systems (Hubspot or similar) and commercial tools.
- Ability to collaborate across multiple departments and influence decision-making.
