Partners in - Strategy Manager

Job Description

Partners in Performance Managers play the critical role of leading our engagements. They are adaptable and comfortable working in business improvement, strategic sourcing, capital portfolio optimisation and commercial due diligence across a broad range of clients and industries in the Europe region. They lead teams of Senior Associates, Associates and/or Business Analysts, ensuring engagement delivery and client collaboration, coaching and managing client relationships while maintaining end‑to‑end ownership of the process.

You will have consulting experience within a T1 strategy firm and outstanding logic and analytical skills. You will be able to solve complex commercial problems and see tangible results from your work with Partners in Performance.

• Lead engagement teams, delivering on project objectives and timelines
• Ensure collaboration across team members and coach and manage team dynamics
• Maintain end‑to‑end control of project processes and client relationships
• Engage with senior managers, influencing and building trust to achieve results
• Prioritise professional development of team members and guide junior consultants

• Outstanding academic results
• University degree or equivalent experience with a strong emphasis on quantitative skills, especially in Engineering, Commerce/Economics & Mathematics/Science (we consider candidates from a broad spectrum of degrees but place a strong emphasis on quantitative skills)
• MBA would be an advantage
• Double degrees and Postgraduate degrees are highly regarded in our firm
• Demonstrated passion for results, with a track record of achieving tough targets under pressure
• Excellent problem‑solving skills, including the ability to structure and prioritise effort within an area, and ask the right questions to get to root causes
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to coach, influence and build trust with senior managers, and achieve results through managing a team while prioritising the professional development of team members
• Propensity to coach and guide younger consultants to deliver results and work through the line to achieve outcomes
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to construct compelling arguments supported by the right facts
• Show an ability to influence and effectively multitask and manage expectations/deadlines
• Demonstrated alignment with Partners in Performance values
