Location: Greater London

We are really pleased to be working with this unique and community-driven organisation to recruit a Procurement Manager at an exciting time in their growth.

The Procurement Manager will take ownership of procurement and contract management across the organisation.

This is a step-up role where you will lead procurement strategy, drive value for money and embed best practice, while working closely with senior stakeholders across housing, finance and operational teams.

You'll play a central role in ensuring compliance, improving supplier performance and delivering procurement activity that supports key organisational priorities such as building safety, major works and service delivery improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage end-to-end procurement exercises across goods, services and works
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned to organisational priorities
  • Provide expert advice to senior managers on procurement routes, governance and compliance
  • Oversee tender processes including documentation, evaluation and contract award
  • Manage the contracts register and ensure robust contract oversight and transparency
  • Drive supplier performance and manage key contractor relationships
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, efficiencies, and service improvements
  • Produce procurement reports and insights for senior leadership
  • Support forward planning of procurement activity across departments
  • Champion best practice and build procurement capability across the organisation
About You

We're looking for someone who can operate both strategically and operationally, with the confidence to influence stakeholders and lead procurement activity.

You will bring:

  • Proven experience in procurement and contract management (housing or public sector highly desirable)
  • Strong knowledge of procurement regulations, governance and best practice
  • Experience leading procurement exercises and managing complex tenders
  • Ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders confidently
  • Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills
  • CIPS Level 4 (or working towards / committed to achieving)
  • A collaborative, proactive approach with excellent attention to detail
