Responsibilities

Manage a team developing policies and projects to promote the Council’s corporate approach to sustainability.

Plan and manage reports on the council’s delivery programme and Carbon Neutral Plan.

Qualifications

Education:

degree level or equivalent with relevant work experience.

Proven experience of the formulation, development and delivery of overarching/holistic sustainability strategies and programmes
Experience of partnership working with public agencies, private and community sectors
Experience of managing operational & project based budgets
Ability to lead and manage staff teams
