What You’ll Do
- Strategic Risk Mitigation & Compliance:
Oversee preventative maintenance and critical building systems to eliminate portfolio risks, ensuring all industrial facilities remain compliant with local regulations, insurance carrier requirements, and are maintained in a continuous audit‑ready condition. - Financial Oversight & Capital Budgeting:
Lead annual facility‑by‑facility budget construction, monthly spend forecasting, and accurate expense accruals for an approximate $100M global facility management budget, while partnering to guide a $65M annual capital maintenance and $25M facility upgrade program. - Global Vendor & Service Delivery Management:
Direct the quality of global service delivery with a focus on all locations outside of North America and Latin America, driving efficiency, handling inquiries from business leaders, and building collaborative partnerships with outsourced facility management partners. - Cross‑Functional & Stakeholder Engagement:
Partner closely with Regional Operations Leaders in EMEA and APAC to flawlessly deliver facility management services, capital responses, M&A integrations, and disaster recovery plans. - Sustainability & Energy Management:
Drive carbon reduction and energy efficiency initiatives, managing utility budgeting, procurement, and forecasting alongside LED replacement projects, solar installations, and green Power Purchase Agreements to achieve public enterprise sustainability goals.
- Substantial experience of increasingly responsible facilities management and client‑facing positions in a corporate real‑estate setting (in‑house or vendor) and experience managing external teams.
- Strong knowledge of industrial facilities, asset management, and budgeting, including an understanding of accruals for expenses in a public company.
- Demonstrated global experience navigating international portfolios, specifically building highly collaborative partnerships with outsourced facility management partners.
- University degree in engineering, facilities management, or equivalent technical subject is required (an advanced degree in a related or complementary field is strongly preferred).
- Desirable professional licenses or certifications in related fields (such as CPM/CFM, PMP, and RFA certifications).
- Excellent relationship‑building, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills, with a willingness to travel 50% of the time.
