Position Overview

Estate Manager

Key Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Experienced, well‑rounded residential estate manager with strong technical knowledge.
  • Expert at managing high‑level client relationships, adapting communication skills and taking a proactive, tailored approach.
  • Proven track record working in residential schemes with a wide range of amenities, demonstrating attention to detail and delivering exceptional standards.
  • Multi‑tasker capable of managing large and busy operations, including contracts for leisure, M&E and various service providers.
  • Experience managing major works from start to completion and good understanding of Section 20 processes.
  • Strong health and safety background, ensuring statutory compliance and keeping up to date with changing legislation.
  • Leader who creates a positive and safe environment for residents, guests and team; experience in managing teams, improving morale and building high‑performing teams.
  • Experience with mid‑large teams and relevant employment issues.
  • Managed budgets and overall expenditure for a residential development, working closely with Property Managers.
  • Strong customer‑service focus, delivering exceptional service, anticipating resident needs, adding value to the estate and managing complaints.
  • Experience conducting site inspections, ensuring Health & Safety regulations are adhered to and basic working knowledge of building maintenance systems.
  • Ideally holds TPI associate/membership; additional qualifications such as NEBOSH, RICS beneficial.
