Clariness is looking for a Project Management Team Lead - Clinical Trials (f/m/d) based in Berlin, Hamburg, London or Cape Town.
Full-time; unlimited
As a Project Management Team Lead, you will ensure the successful delivery of projects while leading and supporting a team of Project Managers and Project Coordinators. Working closely with the VP Project Management, you will help drive operational excellence, foster collaboration, and ensure consistent project delivery standards across your assigned POD.
Responsibilities- Lead, coach, and support Project Managers and Project Coordinators within your assigned POD.
- Oversee team workload, project delivery performance, and resource allocation to ensure successful project execution.
- Support professional development and performance management of team members through regular feedback and coaching.
- Ensure consistent application of PMO standards, processes, and best practices across projects.
- Collaborate closely with the VP Project Management to align on priorities, ways of working, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve project management processes, efficiency, and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Act as an active contributor to project delivery, supporting key projects and stakeholders as needed.
- Foster a collaborative, engaged, and high‑performing team environment.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, project delivery, or a related leadership role.
- Previous experience leading, mentoring, or developing Project Managers and/or Project Coordinators.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, processes, and delivery best practices.
- Proven ability to balance resources, manage priorities, and support teams in a dynamic environment.
- Experience driving process improvements and promoting cross‑functional collaboration.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with in healthcare, clinical research, clinical operations, or digital project environments is a strong advantage.
- Fluent English skills, both written and spoken.
