Plentific is redefining property management in real time, leading real estate to a “World of Now” through our cloud‑based platform.

The Role

We are looking for a Service Delivery Lead to take end‑to‑end ownership of the inspection and survey workflow.

This high‑impact role involves managing the full lifecycle of inspection work orders, ensuring the delivery of inspections with contractor surveyors, and overseeing projects such as post‑disrepair surveys, damp and mould inspections, void inspections, stock condition surveys and pre‑/post‑work surveys.

End-to-End Responsibilities
1. Commercial & Pricing Management
  • Service Catalogue – Create and grow the inspection service offering with a sustainable contractor base.
  • Pricing – Lead discussions with clients about project costs, ensuring pricing models reflect technical complexity.
  • Margin Protection – Negotiate competitive rates with contractors while maintaining Plentific’s commercial margins.
2. Contractor Onboarding & Vetting
  • Capability Evaluation – Lead the technical assessment of new inspection and surveyor contractors, verifying qualifications, past performance, and expertise in UK housing standards.
  • Selection Strategy – Match accreditation, capacity, pricing, and SLA expectations to client requirements, ensuring high‑risk or high‑complexity jobs are handled by top‑tier providers.
3. Inspections Workflow & Job Delivery
  • End‑to‑End Oversight – Manage the full “order‑to‑completion” lifecycle, ensuring jobs are scheduled and executed within agreed SLAs.
  • Relationship Mediation – Act as the primary contact for clients and contractors, resolving technical blockers and clarifying scope‑of‑work discrepancies in real time.
4. Performance Metrics & Quality Control
  • KPI Tracking – Monitor contractor performance using metrics such as report accuracy and punctuality.
  • Continuous Audit – Review completed inspection reports to ensure compliance with the Decent Homes Standard and the Building Safety Act, providing corrective feedback.
Candidate Background
  • Industry Expertise – Deep experience within UK social housing or as a service provider for a registered provider.
  • Technical Foundation – Background in surveying or technical property inspections, and knowledge of required accreditations.
  • Commercial Acumen – Comfortable justifying costs to clients and negotiating value with contractors.
  • Data‑Driven Mindset – Enjoy tracking performance metrics and proactively addressing supply‑chain weak links.
Key Requirements
  • Regulatory Knowledge – Expert understanding of HHSRS, UK building regulations, disrepairs, voids, damp and mould, and stock condition surveys.
  • Experience – 10+ years in a technical housing role (RP or contractor), ideally with surveys, procurement, asset management or service delivery management.
  • Tech‑Savvy – Ability to navigate and leverage the Plentific platform to automate workflows and extract performance data.
  • Communication – Authoritative yet collaborative, able to hold contractors accountable while maintaining partner relations.
Benefits

We offer a comprehensive benefits package to support both personal wellbeing and professional growth:

  • Competitive compensation
  • 25 days annual holiday + 1 additional day for every year served up to 3 years
  • Flexible working environment, including the option to work abroad
  • Private health care for you and immediate family, with discounted gym, optical, dental and GP services
