Role and Responsibilities- Associate Directors work on business initiatives and lead a broad range of projects and programmes across public and private sectors including Aviation, Highways, Rail, Environment, Utilities
, and more. - Significant experience managing multiple disciplines / teams / advisors / clients on infrastructure projects/programmes across the lifecycle. Demonstrable success, and ability to challenge and set strategy.
- Significant experience administering NEC3 and NEC4 Engineering and Construction Contracts in a Project Manager role or a representative role within the last 12 months.
- Excellent leadership, setting high standards and managing performance to meet stakeholder expectations. Able to navigate ambiguous and challenging environments.
- Lead and be accountable for health, safety and wellbeing within your sphere of responsibility. Practical understanding of CDM and applying it across teams.
- Anticipate client challenges and determine applicable solutions, innovating as needed while considering stakeholder needs and sustainability.
- Promote inclusive teamwork and a collaborative, one-business mindset with clients and within Turner & Townsend.
- Develop and maintain client and industry partnerships, expanding relationships.
- Use leadership and influence to realise the company purpose and vision, expanding impact.
- Coach and mentor others, encourage development, and nurture emerging potential.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build long-term trusted advisor relationships.

Beneficial
Experience:
- Experience of complex and multiple forms of procurement and managing NEC contracts.
- Experience managing contractors, consultants and other advisors on infrastructure projects across diverse environments and sectors.
- Experience of consultancy and/or client-side project management.
- Familiarity with public sector organisations relevant to infrastructure.
- Familiarity with sustainability and its application to projects/programmes.
- NEC3 or NEC4 Accredited Project Manager is essential.
- Degree level qualification in management, construction or infrastructure related subject, or equivalent experience.
- Professional affiliation with the APM, ICE, or equivalent institution.
- Project management certification (e.g. APM / PRINCE2 / MSP / ChPP).
- CSCS / equivalent.
- Sustainability related qualification (e.g. Carbon Literacy).
- Safety qualifications / accreditations.
- Soft skills / leadership certification.
