About the Role

Our UX Design Operations team is looking for a Senior Design Program Manager who’s excited to bring people, process and UX design together. In this role you’ll partner with designers, engineers, product managers, business stakeholders and cross‑functional partners to bring design initiatives to life, from early planning through launch.

As a Design Program Manager, you will play a key role in driving execution within the Play Station Partners team. You’ll support planning, prioritization, and coordination of design work, helping teams stay aligned, while proactively managing timelines and risks. Your efforts will enable strong cross‑team collaboration and ensure the delivery of high‑quality user experiences.

The Play Station Partners team empowers game creators to publish their games to Play Station devices and services. Through this platform, Play Station helps creators publish games to the highest standards, create digital store content, access developer support, and track metrics on store sales and engagement.

What You’ll Do A Subject Matter Expertise in Design

You will strategically drive the process across key programs within Play Station’s Partners team, while collaborating with designers, writers, engineers and researchers. You will integrate multiple work streams while championing accessibility, integrating deeply with design systems, and ensuring design excellence through engineering handoffs and QE.

A Trusted Partner

Teams you work with will see you as a trusted partner, advisor, and Design Operations point of contact. You will partner with design leadership and cross‑functional teams to establish and maintain roadmaps by understanding business priorities and building strong relationships across the organization.

Drive Collaboration

You will successfully collaborate with design leaders, designers, product managers, researchers, engineers, and other design program managers. You will be a multiplier who inspires and motivates others to do their best work.

Champion Design Excellence

You will cultivate design thinking, plan & lead workshops and advocate for user‑centered design. You will continuously refine operational processes, strengthen feedback and learning loops, and drive consistency across the design teams in your domain.

Driver of Delivery

You will balance problem‑solving with operational execution to strengthen the team and product. You will own strategic artifacts and drive initiatives to keep the team connected to the broader business context. Within your domain, you will anticipate bottlenecks, manage issues, drive prioritization and planning, support resource management, and track programs to help cross‑disciplinary teams deliver design excellence.

About You

You excel at the intersection of design and execution. Passionate about crafting systems that improve how teams collaborate, with a strong ability to bring transparency to multiple moving pieces. You understand building processes, B2B strategies and are motivated to develop systems that help teams perform at their highest level!

You are comfortable navigating ambiguity, running multiple work streams, and adapting as priorities evolve, all while maintaining momentum. People trust you because you communicate clearly, follow through, and approach challenges with an open perspective.

You understand Design and what Designers need to be successful. You are a strategic partner to driving the work, not just the process. You know that Design Operations is more than tools and tracking – it's about developing solutions that get to the root of the problem!
