Job Description – Operations Manager (261152)
Salary circa £56k p.a. depending on skills and experience, plus 34 days leave, rising to 39, and 2 paid volunteering days each year. Temporary (6 months), full time (37.5 hpw) hybrid role. Harrow, covering our homes in North London. We can’t offer a CoS for this role.

Whatyou’ll do
- Lead housing and supported managers to deliver high quality, customer‑centered services.
- Drive service improvement using data, insight, and strong operational grip.
- Manage budgets and performance across a varied portfolio of homes and services.
- Build trusted relationships with commissioners, partners, and internal teams.
- Coach and develop colleagues to create confident, high performing teams.
- Work with experienced colleagues who value collaboration, learning, and doing the right thing for customers.
- Use flexibility, trust, and real development opportunities to stretch yourself and make a difference.
- Strong experience managing housing, supported living, or customer services.
- Led and developed managers and teams through change and challenge.
- Confidence managing complex budgets and performance targets.
- Solid knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication skills and build relationships with ease.
- Availability Monday to Friday, approximately 9am – 5pm with flexibility.
- Expectation to attend evening and weekend meetings with customers as required.
- Ability to travel at least 3 days a week to the office in Harrow, with the rest of the week at home or in the community.
- Enhanced with Barring List DBS check (we pay).
- Ability to drive and have access to own vehicle insured for business purposes.
- 34 days leave, pro‑rated (including bank holidays and a “me day”).
