Would you like the opportunity to influence safety standards across one of London's most prestigious mixed‑use property portfolios?

Irwin and Colton are delighted to be partnering with a leading facilities management provider to recruit a Health & Safety Lead for one of their flagship contracts, supporting an FTSE 250 real estate business. This role offers the opportunity to oversee a diverse portfolio of commercial, residential and mixed use buildings, including Higher Risk Buildings, while working closely with senior stakeholders to drive a proactive and positive safety culture.

Key responsibilities of the Health and Safety Lead include:

• Overseeing the development and implementation of health and safety policies across multiple sites.
• Conducting regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Leading investigations of incidents and near misses, implementing corrective actions.
• Championing continuous safety improvement and fostering a safety‑first culture.

The ideal Health and Safety Lead will have:

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience managing health and safety in large, complex building environments.
• Strong knowledge of UK health, safety, and fire safety legislation.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
