Bid Manager, Management

We are seeking an experienced Bids & Pursuits Manager to lead the development of high-quality, client-focused proposals within a leading international law firm. This is a strategic and hands‑on role, working closely with senior stakeholders to deliver compelling bids that drive business growth and improve win rates.

• Lead the end-to-end bid and pursuit process, from opportunity qualification through to submission and post-bid review
• Develop clear win strategies and value propositions aligned to client needs
• Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to shape and deliver high-impact, client‑centric proposals
• Drive best practice bid management, ensuring consistency, quality and continuous improvement
• Analyse bid performance, feedback and data to improve outcomes and win rates
• Coach and support junior team members and contribute to a high‑performing business development culture

• Proven experience (5+ years) managing bids/pursuits within professional services or a similar environment
• Strong stakeholder management and project management skills
• Demonstrated ability to develop successful win strategies and compelling written proposals
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple complex opportunities to tight deadlines
• Excellent written and communication skills, with strong attention to detail
• Experience coaching or mentoring others is advantageous
