Head of Sales / Regional Sales Manager – UK & Ireland

📍 UK Wide | Full-Time

We are working with a market-leading manufacturer specialising in innovative solutions designed for healthcare and custodial environments. With strong global growth across EMEA, North America, and Asia-Pacific, the business is continuing to invest in its UK sales function and is now seeking a senior sales leader to drive performance and expansion across the UK & Ireland.

The Role

This is a hands-on leadership position, responsible for leading, developing, and motivating a team of Project Consultants to deliver revenue growth, strengthen strategic relationships, and build a high-performing sales culture.

You’ll play a key role in shaping regional strategy while remaining close to the field—coaching, supporting, and driving performance across the team.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

* Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales professionals

* Create a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement

* Conduct regular performance reviews and set clear targets and development plans

* Support recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning

Field Leadership & Coaching

* Spend time in the field supporting customer engagement and deal progression

* Provide live coaching on sales approach, negotiation, and closing strategies

* Identify capability gaps and implement development plans

Sales Performance & Pipeline Management

* Deliver regional revenue and growth targets

* Monitor pipeline, activity levels, and conversion performance

* Ensure strong CRM discipline and accurate forecasting

* Analyse trends and implement corrective actions

Strategic Account Development

* Lead growth across key strategic and enterprise accounts

* Build senior-level relationships with customers

* Support team members in identifying and developing opportunities

Major Opportunities

* Oversee high-value and complex sales opportunities

* Lead commercial strategy, negotiations, and presentations

* Coordinate internal stakeholders to secure successful outcomes

Regional Planning

* Develop and execute the regional sales strategy

* Lead planning sessions and quarterly business reviews

* Maintain strong market awareness and competitor insight

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience leading and developing a B2B sales team

Strong track record of delivering against revenue targets

Experience managing strategic accounts and complex sales cycles

Commercially aware with excellent negotiation skills

Strong leadership presence with a coaching mindset

Analytical approach to sales performance and forecasting

Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
