Senior Manager Financial Reporting

Marc Daniels are recruiting for a Senior Manager Financial Reporting on behalf of an exciting and growing business within the media sector. Working closely with a dynamic and highly regarded Finance Director, you will play a key role in leading the financial reporting function, ensuring accurate reporting, strong financial controls and compliance across the business.

Responsibilities:

Lead the monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting processes.
Prepare and review statutory accounts.
Manage the year-end audit and external auditor relationships.
Ensure compliance with IFRS and UK GAAP.
Drive improvements to financial reporting processes and controls.
Support key business and strategic initiatives.
Lead and develop a small finance team.
Partner with senior stakeholders across the organisation.

Requirements:

ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification is essential.

You will also have:

Strong financial reporting and technical accounting experience.

Experience with in a medium to large business environment.
Previous people management experience.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
A proactive and hands-on approach
