The UKMBU operates across 3 distinct divisions utilising 4 separate CAFM systems (MRI, Planon and two versions of IBMs Maximo). In 2025 the CAFM portfolio was reviewed and, through a market testing exercise a Salesforce CAFM has been selected for all the UK services activities across all Divisions. Having selected Salesforce as our proposed system for One CAFM going forward. It is expected that the first contracts will move in late 2027 and then the final transition will be completed in 2028. The programme will represent the biggest transformation programme the UK will ever undergo.

The objective of the project is to move to a single way of working on a single platform that our operational team will use for all processes (whether that be work order management, procurement, quotations or invoicing); the intent is that everything will be done from the CAFM. The system is also intended to provide users with the ability to customise their own local operating procedures and workflows to ensure that our customers continue to experience a bespoke service tailored to their requirements.
