Overview

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting for an EMEA Finance Manager based in London on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities
  • Provide formal supervision to employees, monitor training and development, conduct performance evaluations and coaching, and oversee recruitment and hiring.
  • Coordinate and manage the team’s daily activities by establishing work schedules, assigning tasks, and cross‑training staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines.
  • Oversee the budgeting process, forecasting, strategic planning, and standard management reporting.
  • Review balance sheet account analysis, statement of cash flows, supporting schedules, and consolidated reporting packs for accuracy.
  • Approve basic monthly journal entries.
  • Produce a variety of routine and ad hoc financial reports, packages, and pro‑forma analyses for senior management and the planning unit.
  • Coordinate research, development, and preparation of accounting policies and procedures.
  • Translate complex information and deliver performance expectations, handling sensitive issues with confidentiality.
  • Influence stakeholders to reach agreements and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.
  • Apply disciplinary knowledge to integrate with other functions and achieve team and departmental objectives.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day‑to‑day and moderately complex issues that may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
  • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complex information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.
  • Leadership skills to motivate the team and improve quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
  • In‑depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
