Overview
CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting for an EMEA Finance Manager based in London on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities- Provide formal supervision to employees, monitor training and development, conduct performance evaluations and coaching, and oversee recruitment and hiring.
- Coordinate and manage the team’s daily activities by establishing work schedules, assigning tasks, and cross‑training staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines.
- Oversee the budgeting process, forecasting, strategic planning, and standard management reporting.
- Review balance sheet account analysis, statement of cash flows, supporting schedules, and consolidated reporting packs for accuracy.
- Approve basic monthly journal entries.
- Produce a variety of routine and ad hoc financial reports, packages, and pro‑forma analyses for senior management and the planning unit.
- Coordinate research, development, and preparation of accounting policies and procedures.
- Translate complex information and deliver performance expectations, handling sensitive issues with confidentiality.
- Influence stakeholders to reach agreements and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.
- Apply disciplinary knowledge to integrate with other functions and achieve team and departmental objectives.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day‑to‑day and moderately complex issues that may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
- Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complex information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.
- Leadership skills to motivate the team and improve quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
- In‑depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
