Overview

Lead the ongoing development, integration, and governance of The Crown Estate’s Marine Nature Strategy
Ensure alignment of strategy across the Marine Strategic Business Unit and the Enterprise Nature Strategy
Champion marine nature strategy, enabling delivery teams to succeed
Translate the vision into strategic direction for marine nature recovery
Facilitate cross-team collaboration and ensure strategic clarity
Represent The Crown Estate in high-level external forums and build strategic partnerships
Oversee development of evidence bases and impact measurement frameworks

Requirements

Significant experience in marine strategy, policy, or environmental governance at a senior level
Proven ability to lead strategy development and integration in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment
Strong understanding of UK marine policy, natural capital, and nature recovery frameworks
Experience influencing at Board/Executive level and representing organisations in high-profile external settings
Experience in strategic communications and thought leadership
Familiarity with innovative finance and investment models for nature recovery
Knowledge of The Crown Estate’s marine and enterprise strategies
