We are working in partnership with a high-growth, overseas manufacturer of category-leading products, with strong brand equity and ambitious expansion plans, to appoint a visionary Commercial Director to lead their UK and European commercial operations. Our client is a privately owned £300m, fast-growing manufacturer of high-quality Smart Home Connected Products & Systems, operating at the forefront of their category. With a reputation for product excellence, sustainability, and customer loyalty, they have invested heavily in product innovation, and market development. Their brands are trusted by millions, sold online, stocked by major retailers and distributors, and sold directly to large professional end users and system integrators.
The Role
As Commercial Director will be responsible for shaping and executing the strategic commercial direction of the business, leading all core commercial functions, this is a hands-on leadership role requiring both strategic vision and operational rigour.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the development and execution of a bold, long-term growth strategy
* Drive commercial performance across UK and European markets
* Build and mentor a high-performing commercial team
* Champion innovation across product development and brand strategy
* Represent the business externally with key partners, customers, and stakeholders
Candidate Profile
Must have Smart Home sector experience
We are seeking a commercially astute, strategically minded leader with a strong track record of growing a B2B and B2C IoT Connected Products business. You will be entrepreneurial, results-driven, and capable of leading a business through rapid growth and transformation.
