This is an opportunity to join a well-established London advisory firm with a strong heritage in private client and owner-managed business work, but importantly, they’ve grown significantly in recent years with a sizeable private client tax team. That growth has come with investment in their advisory capability and a broader client base, so it’s very much a firm that’s evolving rather than standing still.

The Private Client team reflects that.

The work is built around long-term relationships with HNWIs, entrepreneurs and families
, with a good mix of trusts, estate planning and broader personal tax advisory. It’s not a volume-driven compliance environment — managers tend to be involved in client discussions and advisory work, rather than sitting behind layers.

The Role

At the Senior Private Client Tax Manager level, the focus is not just about technical delivery.

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing and developing a team
  • Overseeing the delivery of client work across a portfolio
  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients
  • Supporting and mentoring more junior staff
  • Working closely with partners on client relationships and planning

There is still involvement in advisory work, but the role is broader — it’s about stepping into a leadership position within the team.
