Job Description & How to Apply Below

Placed by Leon is partnering with an established Heritage luxury lifestyle brand to appoint a Flagship Boutique Manager for its flagship Central London location.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded retail leader who wants genuine ownership of a business. The successful candidate will have significant scope to shape its performance, develop the team and build a stronger clienteling culture.

Leading a small team, you’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day and long-term performance of the boutique: driving sales, developing client relationships, setting standards and creating a consistent, high-performing team culture.

The business is looking for someone who brings energy, initiative and an entrepreneurial mindset. This isn’t a role for somebody who simply maintains an established operation. You’ll be expected to identify opportunities, develop business locally and encourage the team to move from a largely reactive sales environment towards much more proactive relationship-building and repeat business.

People leadership will be equally important. You’ll inherit an experienced and loyal team, including some strong personalities, so the ability to build credibility, have difficult conversations when needed, deliver constructive feedback and introduce change thoughtfully will be key.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Current luxury fashion or lifestyle retail experience
  • A proven ability to lead, coach and develop experienced teams
  • Strong commercial instincts and demonstrable achievements in driving sales and developing business
  • A genuine understanding of clienteling and how to turn relationships into repeat business
  • Confidence introducing new standards and ways of working while bringing an established team with you
  • An entrepreneurial, proactive approach rather than a purely operational management style

You’ll report directly to the Retail Director and have responsibility for sales performance, client experience, team development, operational standards and boutique P&L, giving this role considerably more autonomy than many traditional Store Manager positions. The formal brief also includes responsibility for retail strategy, KPIs, proactive client acquisition, CRM, individual performance management and P&L ownership.
