Financial Controller

This is a broad finance leadership role within a growing, investor-backed organisation, providing ownership of the UK finance function and responsibility for supporting operational and strategic decision-making. Working closely with senior leadership, you'll lead a small team, drive performance, and support key growth initiatives across the business.

Having experienced significant growth in recent years, they are continuing to invest in their people, infrastructure and leadership team to support the next phase of expansion.

• Lead financial reporting, planning and control for a growing UK operation.
• Business partner senior stakeholders, providing commercial insight and decision support.
• Manage and develop a small finance team.
• Support growth projects, operational improvements and strategic initiatives.
• Drive process improvements and strengthen financial controls.
• Work closely with group finance and operational leadership teams.

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Previous experience in a Financial Controller, Finance Manager or similar finance leadership role.
• Strong financial reporting, controls, budgeting and forecasting experience.
• Experience managing or mentoring finance team members.
• Proactive and hands-on approach, comfortable operating within a growing and evolving business.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and support business growth initiatives.
