Job Description & How to Apply Below
Women's Pioneer is looking for a Director of Resources.

An opportunity to achieve your first Executive role.

About Our Client These are exciting times at Women's Pioneer Housing (WPH) as we continue to grow and expect to achieve over 1,000 social housing homes in October. Founded in 1920 by suffragists, who understood the importance of providing women with good quality affordable homes of their own, as part of their wider fight for women's equality.

Today, we continue to challenge gender inequality and provide much-needed homes for single women including our new high rise building in Ealing.

We own around 1,000 properties in West London, including some leasehold and shared ownership flats. Most are studio or one-bedroom flats in large, converted Victorian or Edwardian buildings, many of which are listed or in Conservation Areas.

We are seeking a Director of Resources to lead a broad portfolio including finance, governance, risk, people, IT and business support services. This is a unique opportunity within the housing sector to join our Executive Team and play a key role in shaping our future.

Job Description
· Strategic leadership of corporate services, ensuring finance, governance, people, technology and business support functions work effectively to support the organisation's goals.
· Oversight of financial performance and sustainability, including business planning, budgeting and treasury management.
· Leadership of governance, risk and compliance, providing assurance to the Board and Executive Team and ensuring the organisation meets its regulatory obligations.
· Development of effective systems and processes, supporting strong decision-making, operational efficiency and continuous improvement across the organisation.
· Leadership and development of people and teams, creating a positive, inclusive and high-performing culture that delivers excellent services and outcomes.

The Successful Applicant
· Qualified accountant with significant senior leadership experience in finance, ideally within a regulated or not for profit organisation.
· Broad strategic leadership experience, with an understanding of areas outside of finance, ideally technology or governance would be useful.
· Strong financial acumen including experience of long-term financial planning, internal and external stakeholder management, risk assessment and operating within a robust regulatory and compliance framework.
· Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships, present complex information clearly and work effectively with Boards, executive colleagues, regulators, funders and other stakeholders.
· Values-driven and people-focused leader, committed to equality, diversity and excellent customer service, with a track record of developing high-performing teams and fostering a positive, collaborative culture.

We are at a critical and exciting stage in our evolution and we are looking for a curious, values-driven leader to join our Executive Team and help guide us through our next phase.

For the right candidate, we are committed to supporting professional growth and development and would welcome applications from ambitious leaders who are ready to take their first step into an executive level role.
