Assistant General Manager

The Opportunity

We're looking for an Assistant General Manager to join Famous Three Kings – one of West London's busiest sports pubs, where we show everything from Premier League to NFL, boxing to rugby...often all at once.

This is a key leadership role working alongside the General Manager to run a high-volume operation. You'll lead a team of 15, drive standards, and deliver strong commercial performance in one of London's most iconic sports pubs.

You'll be accountable for the shift, the team, and the guest experience. When the GM isn't there, you are.

This is a hands‑on leadership role – you'll be on the floor, setting the tone, building the team, and making sure we deliver, shift after shift.

• Strong experience in a management role within a high-volume pub or bar
• Confident leading large teams in fast‑paced environments
• Commercially aware – understands sales, labour, and cost control
• Leads from the front: visible, hands‑on, and respected by the team
• Calm under pressure and able to make clear decisions quickly
• Passion for hospitality and building great teams
• Ambition to step into a GM role in the future (typically within 12–18 months)

• Supporting the GM in the day‑to‑day running of the business
• Leading shifts and taking full ownership in the GM's absence
• Driving service standards and guest experience
• Managing labour, rotas, and team productivity
• Supporting recruitment, training, and development
• Maintaining strong stock control and cost management
• Handling guest feedback and resolving issues confidently
