As an Operations Manager, you will lead the operational teams for the water-based leisure services in The Hyde Park Boat House, Serpentine Lido, The Regents Park Boating Lakes and The Greenwich Park Boating Lake.
Managing the delivery of an excellent customer journey and experience, you will ensure our activities are safe and efficient delivered in a positive environment that will leave a lasting impression on our visitors and team.
You will also oversee the customer booking process, ensuring efficiency and enjoyment and responding to service demands, escalating issues when necessary.
You will play a role in the recruiting, inducting and training our large seasonal team to a high standard.
Additionally, you will:
- Act as a key-holder, opening and closing venues
- Co-ordinate the efficient and effective deployment of the team
- Undertake front of house, operational assistant duties and lifeguarding supervision
- Ensure that the venues and equipment are clean and escalat e any disrepair
To be considered as an Operations Manager, you will need:
- Supervisory experience in the leisure, hospitality or service industries
- Experience of managing services with high volumes of customers
- The ability to provide effective management of people and resources
- The ability to build effective working relationships and foster collaboration
