Temporary (3 months, subject to change) Pay Rate: £ 21.86 per hour PAYE / £27.76 Umbrella
Location:
London SE28 - Office-based two days a week with community visits on other days Working Hours : 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday Basic DBS required Join our team as a Neighbourhood Manager, where you will be the cornerstone of service delivery in your designated neighbourhoods. This role is ideal for someone with experience in a similar position within a Housing Association, looking to make a significant impact on community service and customer satisfaction.
Day-to-day of the role:
Act as the primary point of contact for all customer enquiries including complaints, lettings, and community safety issues. Develop and implement fully costed Neighbourhood Plans to enhance performance and satisfaction while managing risks effectively. Conduct estate, scheme, and property inspections, ensuring high standards and compliance with safety regulations. Use data and insights to understand customer needs and proactively address local issues.
Collaborate with various teams and external agencies to deliver comprehensive neighbourhood strategies and improve service delivery. Manage budget expenditures for your areas, ensuring value for money and high-quality service delivery. Promote and facilitate resident involvement and feedback through meetings and events. Qualifications:
Proven experience in housing management, particularly within the Housing Association sector. Strong understanding of tenancy and leasehold management, enforcement, and service level agreements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with a diverse range of audiences. Ability to analyse and interpret complex data to drive service improvement. Knowledge of current housing legislation and practices is desirable. A flexible approach to work, including availability for occasional evening or weekend work (TOIL provided).
