This well-established Consumer Goods Company based in Central London, is looking to hire a Financial Controller as part of its continued growth. The business has a motivating, rewarding and inclusive culture, and is looking for an ambitious finance professional who can add value to both the finance function and the wider business.

Role Purpose

The Financial Controller will play a key role in overseeing finance operations and supporting the wider management team. You'll have responsibility for core finance functions - including AP, AR, reporting, forecasting, compliance, and balance sheet management - while driving process improvements, strengthening financial controls, and contributing to strategic decision-making. The role reports to the Finance Director and manages a team of three.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of three finance professionals, ensuring they are engaged, supported, and performing to a high standard.
• Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate financial information in accordance with UK GAAP, company policies, and relevant external regulations.
• Manage the month-end close process, ensuring all postings are completed and reconciliations are finalised in line with the close timetable.
