Head of Design - Super Prime

Head of Design Super-Prime Residential London | Up to £95,000  package An excellent opportunity for an experienced Head of Design / Senior Design Manager to join a growing super-prime main contractor delivering some of Londons most technically challenging and beautifully finished residential projects. The business is entering an exciting period of significant growth, with a strong pipeline of projects typically ranging from £5m to £20m.

Theyare continuing to strengthen their senior management team as the company expands. Projects combine complex structural and technical elements with the exceptional attention to detail and quality of finish expected at the very top end of the residential market. The role As Head of Design, you will take responsibility for the design function across the business, leading and managing a team of Design Managers working across multiple live and pre-construction projects.

Youll provide oversight and direction to the team while remaining close enough to the projects to help resolve complex design issues, coordinate consultants and ensure design information is delivered in line with programme, buildability and the exceptionally high standards expected by the client. The business uses Procore across its projects, so experience with Procore or similar construction management platforms would be beneficial.

Were looking for The key requirement is genuine super-prime main contracting experience. You should currently be working, or have previously worked, for a recognised prime residential contractor and understand the particular demands of delivering complex, high-value private residential projects. You will also need experience of managing and developing Design Managers, with the credibility to lead the design function and work effectively with Project Directors, commercial teams, architects, consultants and demanding private clients.

This could suit an existing Head of Design or an accomplished Senior Design Manager who is already taking responsibility for others and is ready to step into a broader leadership position. Package Salary up to £95,000 plus package, depending on experience.
