RESPONSIBLE FOR: Team Leaders and other service-based roles as required

PURPOSE OF POSITION

Your Place is seeking an experienced and values-driven Service Manager to lead our LB Newham Core and Intensive Support Accommodation services
. This is an exciting opportunity to oversee high-quality supported accommodation services for vulnerable single homeless adults, including individuals with complex needs, multiple disadvantages and high levels of risk.

The successful candidate will provide operational leadership across both services, ensuring excellent contract delivery, safeguarding, performance management, quality assurance and resident outcomes. You will lead and develop staff teams, promote trauma-informed and strengths-based practice, and ensure residents receive effective support from assessment through to move-on and long-term tenancy sustainment.

Working closely with commissioners, housing providers, health services and community partners, you will drive service improvement, maintain high performance standards and strengthen pathways that help residents build independence and prevent repeat homelessness.

What We're Looking For
  • Management experience within supported housing, homelessness, social care or a related sector.

  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding, risk management, mental health, substance misuse and tenancy sustainment.

  • Experience managing performance, quality assurance, contracts and service improvement.

  • Ability to lead, motivate and develop teams while promoting a positive, inclusive and learning-focused culture.

  • Excellent partnership-building, communication and reporting skills.

Please note: The role includes participation in an on-call rota and occasional evening and weekend work.
