  • This is an exciting opportunity to play a key leadership role in supporting the implementation of neighbourhood health across Greenwich. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual with a strong track record of leadership, change management and innovation, and with significant experience of working across services for people of all ages. The role will form part of a cross-system programme team, working alongside colleagues and workstream leads from across Health Greenwich Partnership organisations.

    The postholder will provide coherent programme oversight across these work streams, ensuring effective coordination, management of interdependencies, and clear communication across the system. The role will be hosted by Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust and will be responsible to the Neighbourhood Health and Care Programme Senior Responsible Officers.
  • Deliver significant transformation programmes and projects for Greenwich Integrated Neighbourhoods
  • Manage the whole lifecycle of the neighbourhood programme, ensuring excellent governance throughout, including reporting on progress and managing risks and issues, escalating where necessary to SROs and boards
  • Create and develop an overarching programme management framework and timelines for the completion of the identified work streams, ensuring these fit with the Integrator and organisational objectives., Provide a wide range of reports as required to a wide variety of audiences, showing progress against milestones, status, resource requirements, issues, risks and dependencies, making recommendations where a range of options may exist
  • Responsible for the delivery of robust information systems to ensure that all programme and project documentation is stored and used effectively (PID, dashboards, highlight reports, risk and issue logs etc.)
  • Support development of business cases and service models for bids, proposals, and developing new models of care as part of the integration agenda, working across partner organisations.
  • Working to agreed objectives, work independently to co-ordinate programme activity (eg set up meetings, review of documentation etc) to ensure relevant people are involved in process and information is shared. Prepare programme and project plans to agreed methodology and organise work streams to meet key milestones and maintain programme and project work plan reporting system to ensure all work stream activity is monitored.
  • Lead on implementation of new models using expert project management skills to ensure delivery timescales are met. This will involve liaising with and advising people both within and outside the organisation, utilising negotiation skills to achieve deadlines.
  • Co-ordinate and have oversight of the relevant identified work streams ensuring that they have a focus on the key tasks and have clear objectives and work plans, including interdependencies.
  • To challenge, in a positive manner, current working practices, promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Provide and receive highly complex, sensitive, or contentious information; barriers to understanding; present complex, sensitive or contentious information to large and small groups.
  • Analyse complex information across a range of inter-connected services and interpret information to identify solutions to complex issues to achieve milestones.
  • Be responsible for the development and maintenance of the required trust wide project infrastructure.
  • Provide leadership at a trust project management level to ensure the objectives of work streams are met and that individual projects do not work in isolation.
