Role Overview

We’re seeking a Property Management Team Leader to guide, mentor, and inspire our high-performing Property Management team. This is a hands‑on leadership role where your sole focus is to provide support and guidance to your team (no portfolio). We are seeking an experienced, knowledgeable and approachable team leader to lead a team of 10, reporting into the General Manager of Property Management.

Responsibilities
  • Mentor, train, and support a team made up of Property Managers, Property Consultants and a BDM
  • Oversee day‑to‑day property management operations with a focus on quality service and compliance
  • Ensure Rental Providers are kept up to date, arrears are managed, and inspections/reviews are completed on time
  • Represent clients at VCAT hearings and manage tribunal paperwork when required
  • Drive new business opportunities and minimise lost managements
  • Provide hands‑on support by covering Property Managers when needed
  • Other ad‑hoc duties in line with a Team Leader
What you’ll bring
  • Extensive experience in residential Property Management and a deep understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act
  • Prior Team Leader experience in Property Management
  • Strong leadership, mentoring and problem‑solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle demanding situations professionally
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Current Agent’s Representative Certificate (essential)
