Planning Manager - Major Infrastructure
Rate: £450 per day Umbrella
Location: London
Contract: 6 month contract
We are seeking an experienced Planning Manager to support a major infrastructure project, providing leadership and technical expertise across the planning function.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage complex project and programme schedules across multiple contractors.
Develop, update and monitor client programmes and critical paths.
Identify schedule risks and issues, providing mitigation and recovery plans.
Produce programme progress, performance and summary reports for senior stakeholders.
Review contractor programmes, compensation events and schedule-related commercial matters.
Lead planning workshops and agree progress reporting with contractors.
Provide guidance and supervision to project planners.
Improve planning processes, methodologies and reporting standards.
Strong experience in project/programme planning within major infrastructure projects
.Good knowledge of NEC contracts
, particularly compensation events.Experience managing contractor programmes in a multi-contract environment.
Experience with
Primavera, Primavera Enterprise or similar planning software.Strong critical path, schedule management and project controls experience.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management and commercial awareness.
Desirable: Railway/signalling experience and knowledge of Earned Value Analysis.
