UK & Ireland 2028 Limited is the local organising committee responsible for delivering UEFA EURO 2028 across the UK & Ireland. We work on behalf of the five Football Associations and in partnership with governments, host cities, stadiums and delivery partners to plan and deliver the tournament safely, inclusively and to world‑class standards.
About UEFA EURO 2028UEFA EURO is one of the world’s largest sporting events. In 2028, it will be hosted across multiple cities in the UK & Ireland, requiring large‑scale coordination across transport, infrastructure, stadiums and public services. UEFA owns the tournament and sets requirements; UK & Ireland 2028 Limited is responsible for delivering it locally.
The RoleThe Senior Mobility Manager is responsible for leading the development and delivery of the Host City mobility planning programme for UEFA EURO 2028 across the UK and Ireland.
The role will establish the strategic framework, standards and approach for Host City mobility planning, ensuring consistent and integrated delivery of tournament transport and mobility requirements across all Host Cities. Leading a team of Mobility Managers, the successful applicant will provide technical direction, programme oversight and stakeholder leadership, working closely with Host Cities, transport partners, UEFA and other internal functional areas to develop robust, deliverable and tournament‑ready mobility plans.
The role is critical in ensuring mobility planning is fully integrated with wider tournament operations and that Host Cities are supported to meet tournament requirements safely, efficiently and consistently.
What you’ll be doing Leadership and Programme Delivery- Lead the Host City Mobility Planning programme and establish the framework, standards and process for Host City mobility plans.
- Build, lead and develop a high‑performing team of Mobility Managers.
- Oversee programme delivery, ensuring plans are developed in line with tournament requirements, milestones and planning assumptions.
- Monitor progress, manage risks and issues and provide regular reporting to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Ensure Host City mobility plans are integrated with wider national, regional and tournament mobility strategies.
- Provide strategic and operational guidance to support the development of robust, deliverable mobility concepts and plans.
- Review and challenge planning assumptions, operational proposals and transport solutions, identifying risks, dependencies and mitigation measures.
- Lead the development of testing, readiness and command‑and‑control planning frameworks relating to Host City mobility.
- Act as the lead representative for Host City mobility planning across the tournament.
- Develop strong relationships with Host Cities, transport operators, local authorities, UEFA and other key partners.
- Represent UK&I 2028 at planning forums, working groups and stakeholder meetings.
- Influence and align stakeholders to support delivery of tournament objectives and mobility requirements.
- Serve as the central point of coordination for Host City mobility planning across UK&I 2028.
- Work closely with Host City, Safety & Security, Stadium, Operations and other functional areas to ensure integrated planning and delivery.
- Promote best practice, consistency and knowledge sharing across the Host City portfolio.
